Is this you? If it is, here is an option to attach the boom to your harness clip free. One part attaches and stays on the boom while another part attaches to your harness. They work together to keep you from holding that boom all the time.
 
Comes with a few spacers to accommodate different sizes of booms. Please let me know if you have any issues!
